The following table shows the resulting damping factor, signal loss, attenuation and impedance for different cable lengths and gauges. The signal loss represents the power wasted on the cable. The attenuation represents the total reduction in SPL assuming the same amplifier is used.



Results assume an amplifier damping factor of 400 at 8 ohm.
